Liv McMillan



Liv obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara and began working in epidemiology at the Parkinson’s Institute where she traveled all over the United States interviewing and testing cognitive and physical functioning of Parkinson’s affected twin pairs. In 2004, she started working at UC Irvine in the Dept. of Psychiatry and Human Behavior as a senior clinical research coordinator and MRI technician for clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease, depression, schizophrenia, and PTSD. Liv joined the Yassa Lab in the Dept. of Neurobiology and Behavior in 2017 and coordinates research activities and administrative aspects of the lab.
