WordPress 3.5.2 – Maintenance and Security Release

Sites@UCI has been updated to WordPress version 3.5.2. This release fixes 12 bugs. This is a security release for all previous versions. Short Downtime for Update

The Office of Information Technology will be performing systems maintenance that will impact a number of campus systems, including Faculty Websites on Saturday, June 22nd. New Slideshow Plugin

New Image Widget

Adding an image to a widget area just got easier. In the past, you had to use a Text Widget and add the HTML code to insert an image. Advanced Feature – Custom CSS

Have you ever wanted to customize the look of theme you are using on Faculty Websites? Some of the themes have this capability built in, but not all do. On Faculty Websites we share the same themes for all of the sites, so editing the themes is not possible like it is on a stand-alone version of WordPress.
