This is intended to become a collection of practical, hands-on tutorials to help students and neuroscientists develop and implement their own tools for performing neuroscience experiments. In the current atmosphere of increasingly scarce research funding, the ability to implement your own tools may help to open doors for research by circumventing the need to purchase unnecessarily expensive commercial equipment.
