Dr. Takahiro Yamashiro (center), Visiting Professor in the Abbott Lab at UCI, headed back to his role as Assistant Professor at Nagoya City University in Japan this week, after a year-long collaboration that we look forward to continuing remotely. His work will help to elucidate mechanisms underlying novel channel-transporter interactions.
