I am Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Dhan Kaur Sahota Presidential Chair of Sikh Studies in the Department of Anthropology at UC Irvine. I am affiliated faculty with the Department of Asian American Studies and Religious Studies at UCI. I am currently Associate Editor of the journal Sikh Formations: Religion, Culture, Theory.
