Professional Bio
Biostatistics itself is an extremely collaborative field and I am actively engaged in developing research partnerships and interdisciplinary projects with various collaborators across diverse disciplines here at UC Irvine. I have been involved in many research projects. Besides the satisfaction of helping my biomedical collaborators solve their scientific research questions and making translational impact, these projects also helped to motivate my own methodology research, which involves developing novel statistical and computational methods that can more efficiently extract useful and accurate information from the vast amount of data available.
Education
Peking University; BS in Probability and Statistics, 1995-1999.
Yale University; PhD in Biostatistics, 1999-2004.
