My methodology research has been supported by multiple NIH/NSF grants in the past, and with the following active ones:
- NSF DMS-1902903 (PD, 2019-2023)
- R01GM134005 (MPI, 2020-2024)
- R01GM134005-S1 (MPI, 2021-2023)
- R01HG012735 (UCI subcontract PI, 2022-2026)
The first two projects focused on developing statistical methods that integrate high-dimensional genetic data with various omics/clinical data (including variant annotations, multiple endophenotypes etc) to better identify disease variants and predict disease risks.
We further propose to extend these methods to bear on similar research problems arising from the AD genetic studies (third project).
The fourth project focused on developing novel statistical and computational methods for genetic risk predictions across diverse populations.
I have been very actively involved in many biomedical research projects, which have been the motivation and source of innovative ideas for all our methodology research grants.
If you ever need any biostatistics/bioinformatics help for your project, please reach out. I look forward to building long-term and productive collaborations.
