The Cultural Resilience & Learning Center (CRLC) at UC Irvine, founded by Dr. Gustavo Carlo, is a strengths-based multidisciplinary lab designed to foster research, outreach, and training activities to further our understanding of — and improve — the lives of youth and families from different cultures.
Our lab specializes in culturally-based training for research and outreach. By providing access to resources with expertise in diverse cultural backgrounds, we support community outreach activities that emphasize the strengths of culturally-diverse populations. At the CRLC, we actively establish working agreements with national and international universities to foster collaborative research, curriculum development, and faculty/student exchange.
