Welcome

The Cultural Resilience and Learning Center (CRLC) at UC Irvine, founded by Dr. Gustavo Carlo, is a strengths-based multidisciplinary venue designed to foster research, outreach, and training activities that further our understanding of, and improves, the lives of youth and families from different cultures.

Our lab specializes in culturally-based training for research and outreach. By providing access to resources with expertise in diverse cultural backgrounds, we support community outreach activities that emphasize the strengths of culturally-diverse populations. At the CRLC, we actively establish working agreements with national and international universities to foster collaborative research, curriculum development, and faculty/student exchange.
