The Prison Public Memory Project uses history, dialogue, the arts and technology to build public memory and safe spaces where people from all walks of life can come together to engage in conversation and learning about the complex and contested role of prisons in communities and society.

» Racial Democracy, Crime, and Justice Research Network

A national consortium working to (1) advance research on issues of citizenship and democratic participation at the intersection of race, crime, and justice; and (2) promote racial/ethnic democratization of academe by supporting junior scholars of color (racial/ethnic minorities) in advancing their academic careers.

» William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation

The William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation works in communities and classrooms, in Mississippi and beyond, to support a movement of racial equity and wholeness as a pathway to ending and transcending all division and discrimination based on difference.
