Our research group specializes in the modeling and analysis of transportation systems to support planning, design, management, and operational decisions. Our research tends to focus on emerging transportation innovations and technologies, including, shared mobility services, automated vehicles, and electric vehicles. We work to both improve the design and operation of emerging mobility services, while also trying to understand their role and potential impacts in larger transportation systems. The modeling and analysis methods most commonly employed by the research group include optimization, simulation, and statistical modeling.
