Kei received a research grant from BrightFocus Foundation. This $300,000 grant will support our study on circuit mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease.
Kei got the New Vision Award from Donors Cure foundation for his Alzheimer’s Disease Research.
Kei launched and chaired a new social “Global Neuroscience Social” during the SfN annual meeting in San Diego. The idea behind was to connect all friends in Japan, Norway and the US.
Dr. Noriko Osumi from Tohoku Univ kindly helped me a lot for application, and Japan Neuroscience Society, Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience and Champalimaud Neuroscience Institute gave a tremendous support.
There were over 120 people at the Social! We hope this event continues annually!!
Tom got an assistant professor job at Fukushima Medical University, Japan! Getting an assistant professorship in 2 years after PhD is a great success – congratulations Tom!!!
