Aside from “talking science”, the Kisailus Biomimetic and Nanostructured Materials Lab enjoys their time together outside of the lab. Every week we meet for a coffee hour in various locations around UCI just to chat, hang out, and destress from the intense work we have going on within our various facilities. In addition, we enjoy celebrating the many accomplishments of our lab and its members. Whether it be a new publication, Ph.D. defense, birthday, holiday, etc., we take the time to appreciate any significant event for both the individual members and the lab as a whole.
