3) STO(100)/LSMO (Stanford collaboration, FAME)
- LSMO-0(zero)A: different LSMO/Pt(?)
- Pt is deposited@Stanford
- Located on the sample holder in parallel orientation w/r to CPW with wire attached
- 2014/07/10: FMR measurements are done. AMR is being measured.
- LSMO-1A:
- pure LSMO, cut in narrow stripe. long side is [100] direction. each end looped with silver paint to do FMR+transport measurements in-situ.
- Typical R = 1107 ohms@3mA
- 2014/07/10: So far all FMR measurements are done on this sample for “pure” LSMO. Need do to AMR.
- pure LSMO, cut in narrow stripe. long side is [100] direction. each end looped with silver paint to do FMR+transport measurements in-situ.
- LSMO-1B: same LSMO1A/Pt(5nm)
- Description: Pt is deposited@UCI
- 2014/07/10: FMR is done here but almost identical result to LSMO1A sample.
- This is sign of surface degradation of LSMO
- 2014/07/10: FMR is done here but almost identical result to LSMO1A sample.
- Description: Pt is deposited@UCI
- LSMO-1C: same LSMO1A/Cu(3)/Pt(5)
- Cu/Pt deposited@UCI
- 2014/07/10: No measurement done so far.
- Cu/Pt deposited@UCI
- LSMO-2A: LSMO(origin unknown)
- “pure” LSMO based on resistance measurement at each end. long needle shape.
- 2014/07/10: Found from the small wafer holder labeled “LSMO1” on the scotch tape.
- (I,R)=(3mA, 4.7kOhms), (1mA, 4.92kOhms), (0.5mA, 5.64kOhms), (0.1mA, 10.31kOhms), (10uA, 20.6kOhms)
- Will perform AFM measurement to see surface pattern and do FMR for uniaxial anisotropy direction correlation.
- 2014/07/10: Found from the small wafer holder labeled “LSMO1” on the scotch tape.
- “pure” LSMO based on resistance measurement at each end. long needle shape.
3) Py only MgO substrate (standard)
- This is Py (30-40nm??) film on MgO for standard measurement.
- Use to calibrate sample holder
- Wrapped with teflon tape: “Red dot” is backside so face it up on CPW
4) Sample Batch:
