In collaboration with our colleagues in UCI’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, our group has published “Effect of magnesium oxide adhesion layer on resonance behavior of plasmonic nanostructures” in Applied Physics Letters. This work shows that ultra-thin MgO can be used as an adhesion layer for plasmonic nano-devices and can provide enhanced resonance properties. Click more to access the link to the paper.
