Our group went out to see a touching, surreal, and thought-provoking animated film by Hayao Miyazaki called “The Boy and the Heron” at the District’s AMC Theater. The dinner at the “Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que” added to the festive atmosphere. It was also a chance to properly say “goodbye” and “thank you” to Nicklas Rondot who is returning to Germany after a stay in our lab.
