New Paper on Discovery of Microproteins in Mouse Adipocytes Now Published in Cell Metabolism

Our paper on profiling primary mouse adipocytes is now published in Cell Metabolism, and we got the cover! We discovered over 3,800 unannotated microproteins in white, brown, and beige adipocytes by ribosome profiling. We also detect dozens of secreted microproteins by mass spectrometry. We also uncovered the mouse homolog of FAM237B and show it to be an orexigenic hormone peptide in obese mice. See the links below for more details.
