  • CP Violation from Finite Groups
Contrary to the case of continuous groups, discrete symmetries may clash with the physical CP transformation. The proof of this statement as well as a classification  of the different types of finite groups is provided in this paper.
  • No-go theorems for R symmetries in four-dimensional GUTs
We show that one cannot have a model with the chiral spectrum of the MSSM and an unbroken R symmetry in four-dimensional models of grand unification based on a gauge symmetry that contains the Georgi-Glashow SU(5).
  • String-Derived MSSM Vacua with Residual R Symmetries
This is my latest potentially realistic model that is obtained from an explicit string construction. Apart from the exact MSSM spectrum and qualitatively realistic fermion masses it also incorporates simple solutions to the mu and proton decay problems that often haunt supersymmetric standard models.
  • Running neutrino mass parameters in see-saw scenarios
Analytic understanding of the quantum corrections to neutrino masses.
  • Leptogenesis with Dirac neutrinos
Contrary to what was often assumed in the past, one does not need baryon nor lepton number violation beyond the sphalerons to obtain successful leptogenesis-type models explaining the baryon asymmetry of the universe.
