Background

Amirmasoud studied B.Sc. at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, Iran. He pursued his M.Sc. study as a passionate researcher for influential research on Biomaterials for Regenerative Medicine and Drug Delivery at the School of Chemical Engineering, Department of Biotechnology, University of Tehran. Amirmasoud joined the University of California Irvine in September 2022 for his Ph.D. He joined Hayes Research Group in the Spring of 2023 to pursue his research on antibody redesign toward the rapid development of therapeutics with the overarching objective of expediting the development of therapeutics, thereby making a significant contribution to the enhancement of healthcare. He is also interested in methods development to harness the extensive potential of Multisite λ dynamics in computational protein design.
