Kristy Palomares (she/ella) is the Evaluation Specialist for the Help @ Hand Project in the TEAM Lab. She was formerly the Project Manager of One Mind PsyberGuide. She has a background in Sociology from Mills College and is dedicated to increasing equitable and culturally-humble access to mental health resources and technologies for all. She is currently attending UC Berkley’s MPH Program. Kristy has assisted in the development and implementation of projects funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and various public and private foundations. In addition to grant writing and program development, she has experience with community engagement, case management, and communications and social media management. Most recently, she oversaw the quality assurance of federal programs at an outpatient mental health and substance use community clinic in Los Angeles, California. Kristy finds joy in gardening, experiencing live music, and spending time with her loved ones and dogs.
