Amanda Chiang
Research Assistant
Amanda is a third-year Neurobiology major at UCI on the pre-med track and an undergraduate research assistant at the Stark Lab. Within the lab, she works on the behavioral project led by Pia and recruitment for the ADRC Project. She is interested in investigating the plasticity of the brain, specifically the hippocampus, for ways in which memory can be improved upon even as people age, and she hopes to begin her own research focusing on analyzing and comparing data from selected behavioral tests of her choice. Outside the lab, Amanda enjoys dancing and trying new foods.
