Shayan is a 4th year pre-med majoring in Human Biology who currently works at the UCI Stark Lab. He works under Luke to analyze MRI files and sort their information out for proper submission to the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center. He is interested in studying neurodegeneration, specifically in aging populations, which he aims to address in his own research project. Outside of the lab, he serves as the vice president of both the Campuswide Honors Student Council and MEDLIFE. He loves playing classical guitar, going to the gym, binging shows, and watching the Lakers play basketball.
