Yueqi Ren
Ph.D. Candidate
Yueqi (yoo-eh chee) is a graduate student in the Mathematical, Computational and Systems Biology Graduate Program and an MD/Ph.D. student in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of California, Irvine. In the Stark Lab, Yueqi applies statistical machine learning methods to understand Alzheimer’s disease risk and status. Her projects utilize cost-effective data to improve clinical efficiency for screening and understanding Alzheimer’s disease risk. This research is supported by her F30 Predoctoral Fellowship Award from the National Institute of Aging. Prior to UCI, Yueqi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied bioengineering. In her free time, Yueqi enjoys creating art (both traditional and digital) and gaming.
