Upon your graduation, I reminisced of our son’s arrival 40 some years ago (His age is called in Chinese as “Fuwaku” (“no more meandering”, or “不惑”.  These chines characters are recognizable in Korea as well.  Fuwaku was originally called by Confucious.   A Waka has a syllabus structure is 5-7-5-7-7):

         “Sending out students
                     Under purple flower way
                                of jacaranda
                     Reverberating our son’s
                               Arrival four decades back.”
