Pedobiologia selected Jenny Talbot’s review article, “Controls over mycorrhizal uptake of organic nitrogen“, as one of three articles included in a special issue celebrating the International Year of Soils. Powell & Eisenhauer (2015) said:
Talbot and Treseder (2010) represents an excellent synthesis of previously published data that highlights the ecological role of mycorrhizal fungi in an important physiological process, organic nitrogen uptake; this type of approach can help develop and test general principles in soil ecology
Jenny wrote the review as part of her dissertation while she was a PhD student in our lab. She is now an assistant professor at Boston University.
