The Ulloa Lab is a highly collaborative research environment that requires responsible and dependable individuals who can work independently as well as in interdisciplinary teams. The goal of our lab is to improve treatment outcomes for patients by developing novel therapeutic strategies to overcome antibiotic tolerance and/or resistance. Successful lab members typically contribute to multiple projects, each of which requires collaboration among people with different skills both within and outside the lab. We recommend applying for positions early to allow for better project planning to help you get started quickly, and to explore funding opportunities if necessary.
