The lab has a lot to celebrate this Spring! The month begun by sending off some labbies to present their fantastic work at AAI in Honolulu.  Suhas and Patricia were awarded the AAI Trainee Abstract Award to give oral presentations of their work at the conference. Mahina also received an Abstract Award and presented posters alongside Zach and Erika. Once everyone came back from the islands, Erika advanced to candidacy and also presented her work at the annual T32 CVR symposium. Congratulations, Erika! And last, but certainly not the least, Zach defended his thesis! Zach joined the lab in 2021 and is our first Wagar lab PhD student to graduate. We celebrated Zach afterwards at Lisa’s house with some tacos and good company. We are so proud of you, Dr. Wagoner!!!!!
