The School of Medicine New Investigator Faculty Research Grant aims to help early-stage investigators in the School of Medicine. The grant is designed to help these investigators secure funding from external sources and encourage them to collaborate on research projects that invole multiple disciplines. The applications are evaluated based on the potential for positive impact on future extramural funding and awarded by the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (CFCCC), a research institution focues on studying and treating cancer.
