Principal Investigator
Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor In Residence in the Department of Medicine and a Joint Affiliated Assistant Professor in the Departments of Population Health & Disease Prevention and Psychology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Kim received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After completing her Ph.D., she was an NIH/NIMH T32 postdoctoral fellow at UCLA in health psychology, where she examined variations in coping and physical, psychological symptoms in cancer survivorship. Dr. Kim continues to work on projects to improve quality of life in underserved communities, is on the Editorial Board for the Asian American Journal of Psychology and the Annals of Behavioral Medicine.
