Kim Stress, Coping, and Health in Context Lab (hereinafter referred to as the “Kim Lab”) –

a. The Kim Lab website is designed to provide information about our research projects, our lab members, and collaborations/publications that our Principal Investigator (PI), Jacqueline Kim, Ph.D., is involved in.

4. Research Focus and Collaborations:

The Kim Lab’s research focuses on various aspects of physical and mental health, including coping with cancer, internalizing symptoms with significance for disability/mortality (depression, physical/somatic, traumatic stress), Asian American/immigrant or limited English proficiency populations, and the role of trauma or chronic adversity.
b. Collaborations and partnerships with the aim of improving the health and quality of life for racial/ethnic minority and medically underserved populations are central to our mission.

All of our research studies are approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when applicable. The Kim Lab at the University of California, Irvine is committed to protecting the privacy and accuracy of your personally identifiable information to the extent possible, subject to provisions of state and federal law.
