I received my B.S. in microbiology from UCI in June 2022. During the last two years of my undergraduate career, I worked for the Lane lab as a part-time lab tech and was a volunteer for the UCI medical center. After graduating, I briefly worked as a research technician in a biotech company focusing on Dupuytren’s contracture.
In November 2022, I came back to UCI to work in Lane lab as a full-time lab manager/lab tech. My desire to learn more about neuroimmunology and factors affecting neuroinflammation as well as my desire to grow as a scientist led me to ask Dr. Lane if he could accept me as a direct admit to his lab which he graciously did.
I am excited to be part of this amazing lab as a graduate student and explore the cellular and molecular mechanisms that affect neuroinflammation.
In my spare time I like sleeping, listening to true crime podcasts and shopping.
