The Mahler lab has come to life!

We are rocking 16 shiny operant boxes and numerous other behavioral apparatuses, immnohistochemistry, and fluorescent/brightfield microscopy setups.

We are just getting down to science, and we have lots to do–viral vectors to validate, tissue to process, animals to be behaviorally test, programs to write, and video to analyze. Are you interested in neuroscience and looking to contribute to the field?

If you are a current UCI undergraduate who is willing to volunteer 10 hours a week (especially in 3 hour blocks at the same time each day; weekend availability desired; course credit considered), and are interested in the behavioral neuroscience of addition and reward–contact Dr. Mahler: mahlers at uci.edu
