Craig Murray Associate Professor E: craig.murray@uci.edu orcid.org/0000-0002-2398-3914 Craig graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc degree in Chemistry in 1997 and remained there for (most of) his PhD research, supervised by Ken McKendrick.  He held post-doctoral appointments at the University of Bristol and then the University of Pennsylvania, working with Andrew Orr-Ewing and Marsha Lester.  Following the award of a Royal Society University Research Fellowship in 2008, he returned to the University of Bristol before taking up a lectureship at the University of Glasgow in 2011.  He joined the faculty at UC Irvine in 2013.

Dr. Kara Kapnas Graduate Student orcid.org/0000-0003-4365-8462 Kara received her B.S. in Chemistry from UCI in 2014. She defended her dissertation “Imaging Photodissociation: Molecules, Ions, and Clusters” in June 2019.

Dr. Liz Foreman Graduate Student orcid.org/0000-0002-3605-8955 Liz earned her B.S. in Chemistry from DePaul University in 2012 and defended her PhD dissertation “Direct Spectroscopic and Kinetic Studies of the Simplest Criegee Intermediate” in July 2017. She is now a post-doc at MIT.

Dr. Ben Toulson Graduate Student orcid.org/0000-0002-4429-3955 Ben studied at the University of Bristol, earning an M.Sci. in Chemistry with Industrial Experience in 2011. He defended his PhD dissertation “Probing Molecular Photochemistry Using Velocity-Map Imaging” in November 2016. He is currently a post-doc at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
