Hello! Our lab has been happily pursuing our exciting research project in Irvine, a lovely city in the sunny Southern California. We are using biochemistry, structural biology (x-ray crystallography and cryo-EM), molecule genetics, and cell biology approaches to explore the important roles telomeres and long-non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) are playing in cancer biology, stem cell biology and neurodegenerative diseases. We aim to discover fundamental molecular mechanisms underlying these key biologic processes!
