SoCAL is a collective of scientists and engineers who believe that justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) are critically important values to maintain and push forward in STEM. We wish to cultivate a community in which students and scientists of all backgrounds can collaborate not just in their research, but also in JEDI initiatives. Our events aim to foster conversations of growth outside of the bench, pushing through topics such as imposter syndrome and coping with failure.
