Dr. Devashish Kulkarni spent with us 4 years and successfully defended today his Ph.D. thesis titled “Interfaces in Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Water Electrolyzers”.
Devashish has been instrumental in developing x-ray computed tomography (CT) capabilities for operando imaging of fuel cells and electrolyzers on both nano- and micro-scale. His work shed light on understanding interfaces in electrolyzers having various porous transport layers and IrOx loadings.
Devashish traveled to various beamtimes for his work and set a high standard for preparation and execution of experiments under pressure of beamtimes schedules.
