Masao Suzuki Shibata defended his PhD thesis titled “Impact of Electric Double Layer Kinetics on Electrocatalytic Reactions”. Masao delivered a great talk and was well received by committee members and colleagues.
Some group members were able to join for a goodbye dinner before Masao returns to his family in Japan.
We also surprised Masao by celebrating his new birthday in honor of his official achievement of a doctoral degree, something he did not expect.
Masao’s presence and expertise will be missed by all, we look forward to seeing him in future conferences!
