Prof. Zenyuk and Prof. Mo Li from UCI organized Telluride Innovation Workshop on Cement Decarbonization. Various groups attended those from cement and electrochemistry fields and we discussed methods to decarbonize cement and to also have alternative electrochemical pathways for Ca(OH)2 production.

Prof. Zenyuk travels to a workshop titled “Chemical Dynamics at Extended Scales” organized in Fritz-Haber Institute, Max Planck Society in Berlin, Germany to deliver a keynote on a topic of x-ray computed tomography and pyrolysis (Ying’s work). The venue Harnack-Haus in Berlin is quite famous with 35 Nobel prize winners giving lectures there overtime.
