The group explored the vast Descanso Botanical Gardens in LA county. The lush land showcased seemingly countless species of beautiful plants and flowers.

Jesus Lopez was awarded the Graduate Student Excellence Award at the Latine Excellence and Achievement Awards Dinner (LEAD) held April 3.
