Jack, Patrick, Obeen, Cliff, Dr. Hung-Ming Chang and Professor Zenyuk attended the GRC water electrolysis conference – this year’s focus was on Empowering Low Temperature Electrolysis through Fundamentals Illumination and Materials Innovation.

The California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) is a 4-week program for talented high school students. The group explored the vast Descanso Botanical Gardens in LA county. The lush land showcased seemingly countless species of beautiful plants and flowers.

Several students from the Zenyuk Lab showcased their research at the annual CBE Research Symposium. The event provided a valuable opportunity to explore the exciting work happening across the department and to receive constructive feedback on their own projects. Jesus Lopez was awarded the Graduate Student Excellence Award at the Latine Excellence and Achievement Awards Dinner (LEAD) held April 3. Jesus was recognized for his work as a Scholar-in-Residence mentor at the UCI DREAM Center where he helps guide undergraduate students through workshops and post graduate planning. Read more here!
