Congratulations to Dr. Huang and Dr. Khedekar on their successful theses defenses. Both did phenomenal job during presentations and handled questions masterfully. It was fun visiting our collaborators and partners at De Nora, see their R&D facilities, manufacturing plant and to deliver a talk at their annual symposium. We are looking forward to continued collaboration!

Prof. Zenyuk delivered a keynote talk at Electrolysis Annex IEA hosted by NEL Hydrogen. It was also great to reconnect with our alumni Devashish who is now working there. Thanks to organizers for this honor to deliver a keynote.

Our collaborators from Toyota Central R&D stopped by at UCI after ECS in Atlanta to deliver talks and exchange ideas. We also enjoyed the dinner at Javier.

Prof. Zenyuk, Dr. Morimoto, Masao, John, Celine and Kaustubh travel to ECS in Atlanta. Masao, John, Celine and Kaustubh delivered excellent presentations. Kaustubh also had a poster. The team also reunited with group alumni and colleagues at Bosch. It was overall a successful conference.

Congresswoman Katie Porter visited National Fuel Cell Research Center in October 2022 and Prof. Zenyuk and other team members showed her facilities and discussed hydrogen technologies.
The team travels to Advanced Light Source for Beamtime
The team, Prof. Zenyuk, Cliff, Hung-Ming and Jack travel to ALS in Berkeley in October 2022 to do x-ray CT imaging. We had several sleepless days but over 100 tests and many operando electrolyzer tests.

Prof. Zenyuk travels to Europe again
Prof. Zenyuk visited IRD Fuel Cells company near Copenhagen, Denmark and got a chance to see our alumni Dr. Andrea Perego. After that she was a keynote presented at Prof. Hubert Gasteiger group retreat for summer seminar for Chair of Technical Electrochemistry in Monte Isola, Italy. The discussions were fruitful and the location beautiful.
