Comments Off on New ICTS Pilot Award
The Bardwell Lab, in collaboration with two other UCI labs, has been awarded a new pilot award from the UCI Institute for Clinical and Translational Studies.
The title of the project is: “Novel Inhibitors of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) that target scaffold protein-mediated interactions”.
In collaboration with the laboratories of James Nowick and David Fruman, the team will work on a novel strategy to drug a protein that is one of the most frequently mutated in human cancer.
