Stomach Cancer Study

Project background

Stomach cancer has been consistently ranked in the top five cancer incidences among people of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese descent. While Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) screening and treatment have been implemented in Asian countries in order to reduce stomach cancer mortality, these same guidelines have not been applied to Asian communities with high stomach cancer rates in Western countries. Moreover, there is a lack of national guidelines on stomach cancer screening.
