Undergraduate researchers Andrea Su, Chris Liu, Divijia Mamania, and Kimberly Uhls have received grants from the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program at UCI. Andrea is working on developing a pressure sensor with applications to understanding the effect of compression on lithium dendrite growth in batteries. Chris is focused on understanding the wettability of gas diffusion layers by using a variety of machinery. Divijia works with solvents and the factors of evaporation, temperature, and humidity to understand ink drying. Kim’s research focus is on metal-electrolyte interfaces under different applied potentials and understanding the electric double layers of the carbon-electrolyte interface. Congratulations to all and a big thank you to Prof. Zenyuk and PhD students Ying, Prantik, and Kaustubh for their guidance and supervision!
