Our Group had the pleasure of having Amedeo and Elena for approximately 1 month who were visiting from Politecnico di Milano. As a goodbye to them, the group joined them for dinner at Olive Garden where we all had authentic Italian cuisine. We will miss them both!

The group travels to H2NEW DOE Consortium meeting in Napa, CA
Prof. Zenyuk along with team members Cliff, Jack, Nausir, Hung-Ming traveled to H2NEW Hydrogen consortium meeting in Napa, CA. Jack presented a posted on oxygen distribution in the porous transport layer in water electrolyzers. The students also got a chance to meet their academic grandfather Prof. Shawn Litster.

Prof. Zenyuk and Prof. Mo Li from UCI organized Telluride Innovation Workshop on Cement Decarbonization. Various groups attended those from cement and electrochemistry fields and we discussed methods to decarbonize cement and to also have alternative electrochemical pathways for Ca(OH)2 production.

Zenyuk Group Hosts Visitors from NEL Hydrogen and DeNora
During Fuel Cell Seminar in Long Beach, Zenyuk group and NFCRC hosted various visitors. A highlight was to reconnect with our alumni Dr. Devashish Kulkarni, who is now an R&D engineer at NEL Hydrogen. We also hosted a collaborator from DeNora.
The group is saying goodbye to Ziliang
Ziliang was a visiting student with our group for the last year. He accomplished a lot in one year, ran multiple fuel cell programs and developed new method for making MPLs, developed methods for various electrochemical characterization techniques and implemented them. We will miss you!
