Dr. Adeyemi Adeleye joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), as an Assistant Professor in 2018. Before joining UCI, he was National Research Council Research Associate at the US Environmental Protection Agency’s National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory, Narragansett, Rhode Island. He earned his PhD at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2015 where he also did a one-year postdoctoral research. Dr. Adeleye’s current research focuses on understanding interactions among emerging contaminants in the natural environment, and sustainable water treatment and environmental remediation.
