Professor Tajima has recently presented a talk at the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM) commemorating SIOM’s success in launching the convergent effort of the $1.3B Shanghai Coherent Light Facility and Station for Extreme Light (100PW laser) and the 20keV superconducting XFEL. The combination of the highest intensity laser and world class XFEL will allow us to explore new frontiers.
