Michael Song
My name is Michael Song and I am a half Korean, half Caucasian student who recently graduated from the Henry Samueli School of Engineering with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. During my college years I enjoyed powerlifting, playing video games, and working with the UC Irvine Formula SAE racecar project. In the Formula SAE racecar project I was the Suspension Team Lead and designed, manufactured, and tested a racecar style suspension for a collegiate competition in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Kevin Lin
Kevin Lin is a Singer, Actor and Performer who recently completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Drama and Business Minor degree in Management at UC Irvine. Before coming to America, Kevin was born and lived in Taiwan for seventeen years. He hopes to purse his passion as a professional singer in American, and possibly, Asia. After a early college graduation thus June, Kevin continues his vigorous training on vocal techniques and stage performance hoping to break into the music industry. Kevin enjoys learning new knowledge and activities in any given field due to his innate personality of embracing the unknown

Jeffrey Kawai
My name is Jeffrey Kawai, I will be a 5th year this upcoming academic year. I will be completing my Civil Engineering degree with a specialization in Hydrology and Structures.I will also have the honor of serving as on of the co-coordinators for Kababayan’s 40th Pilipinx American Culture Night next year. I am a third generation Japanese American and much of the inspiration for my project comes from either examining relatives or those around me and who embody certain stereotypes that I believe are pertinent to society. These three cards were not incorporated into the Tarot card series used within class so I took the creative liberty to create my on images and descriptions for each of the items.

John Alamares
John Alamares is a fourth-year Chemical Engineering major currently studying at the University of California, Irvine. He is a second generation Filipino American. In order to connect with his Filipino heritage, he is a part of the Kababayan Filipino Culture Club in Irvine and is also a cast member in its annual Pilipinx American Culture Night. As inspiration to creating his project, John uses his own personal experiences as well as his friends.
