Jack received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Macalester College. After graduating in 2021, he worked as an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education Research Fellow in Erik Johnson’s lab at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense. There, he utilized pulse oximetry to evaluate treatment strategies in a concurrent traumatic brain injury and nerve agent exposure polytrauma mouse model. In the Green lab, he is interested in studying the role of the velum interpositum during development, disease, and injury. Outside of the lab, Jack enjoys surfing, freediving, photography, sporting events, concerts, and movies.
